Calvià launches the "Aula Jove" (Youth Classroom) for young people with intellectual disabilities in collaboration with ASDICA.

Registration is now open for users between 14 and 30 years of age residing in the municipality

Calvià Town Hall's Social Welfare Department, in collaboration with the entity ASDICA (Association of People with Disabilities in Calvià), is once again promoting the "Aula Jove" (Youth Classroom) programme, an initiative aimed at young people between 14 and 30 years of age with intellectual disabilities residing in the municipality of Calvià. This initiative reinforces the municipality's commitment to social inclusion, emotional well-being, and the autonomy of young people with functional diversity.

The programme will take place during the month of August at the Es Generador municipal space, with the aim of offering a leisure, learning, and socialising environment tailored to the needs of participants. Activities will include creative workshops, recreational activities, and excursions, all under the supervision of specialised staff. The service capacity is limited to 15 places, which will be organised into groups based on the participants' level of autonomy and age.

The service will run from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the option of extending it to 4 p.m. for those requesting the lunch service. Registration can be completed from 21st to 30th July, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the ASDICA office located at 2 Falcó Street in Son Ferrer.
