For the third consecutive year, Calvià Town Hall is launching the Premios Calvià Excelentes, designed to recognise and reward local businesses and companies for their innovation, track record, and contribution to the municipality's economic development. Candidacies' registration is free of charge, open to all businesses in Calvià, and will remain open until 22nd September 2025.
Five categories are announced: Innovative Business; Family Business; Local Commerce; 365 Business (open all year round); and Tourism Business. Each of these categories seeks to highlight specific characteristics such as innovation, family tradition, proximity to customers, year-round activity, and relevance within the tourism sector.
The 2024 edition winners were: Droguería y Ferretería Calvià (drugstore and hardware store) for the 365 business category, Muebles Palmanova (furniture store) in the family business category, The Gampling for the innovative business category, Hotel Bendinat in the Tourism category, and Uko Backery for the local business category. Special recognition was also given to Pirates Adventures for its over 40-year-long track record linked to tourism in Calvià.
Registrations can be submitted through Calvià Town Hall's official website, municipal registries or online.
