The Mayor and municipal officials have met with the hotel, neighbourhood, senior citizen and shop owner associations of the town to agree on the remodellation project

Calvià Town Hall is going to put out to tender the project for the new Peguera Boulevard, which will serve to renovate one of the most important arteries of the municipality, responding to the historical demand of hoteliers and merchants.

In these days, the Mayor, together with part of the Government Team, have met with hoteliers, merchants and residents to present the main lines of a project that is the result of consensus and that is estimated to reach a global budget of approximately 12 million euros, including 2 million from the Next Generation funds.

The works are scheduled to begin in November 2025, coinciding with the next low season. Municipal technicians are studying the most favourable options to carry out the work in the shortest possible time.

In this way, the municipal Government Team meets the demands of the people of Peguera who requested to carry out a renewal in a consensual manner. The next step in this regard will be the drafting of the executive project and the publication of the specifications through the Contracting portal.
