  • Mayor Juan Antonio Amengual expresses his gratitude for the association's commitment to defending and promoting the rural world for 25 years

Calvià Town Hall joined the Calvià Livestock Association in celebrating its 25th anniversary, an event that highlights the work, tradition, and commitment of the sector in our municipality.

From its first president, Antonio Bonafé Ramis, to the current one, Miguel Sastre Simó, the association has been key in defending and promoting the rural life in Calvià.

The event, held in Ses Quarterades, was attended by Deputy Mayors Manuel Más and Joan Thomàs, as well as Mayor Juan Antonio Amengual.

The day served as a space for meeting and camaraderie, reflecting the importance of our roots and the primary sector to the municipality's identity.

The organisation plays a fundamental role in the organisation of both fairs, Calvià Village Sheep and Goat Fair and Es Capdellà Autumn Fair. At these events, amongst other responsibilities, it manages the agricultural machinery and the sheepdog morphological contest.

The mayor of Calvià, Juan Antonio Amengual, expressed his gratitude for the association's unwavering commitment over the past 25 years to maintaining and strengthening the municipality's primary sector.
