Calvià is preparing to celebrate the 31st edition of La Mostra, the reference gastronomic event in the municipality and the Balearic Islands, which will take place from 17th October to 9th November 2025. In this new edition, establishments must participate over two consecutive weekends, presenting a free gastronomic proposal (menu, special offer, tapas or tasting) that includes a drink and a maximum fixed price of 30 euros per diner.
Calvià Town Hall and Fundación Calvià 365 are jointly organising this initiative and will offer media support and dissemination on social networks to all participants, encouraging restaurants to support local products.
A gastronomic benchmark in the Balearic Islands
La Mostra has been held since 2008. During this time, it has established itself as a benchmark in the promotion of gastronomy in the Balearic Islands.
In recent editions, around 40 restaurants have participated, showcasing the quality and culinary diversity of the municipality. Furthermore, during the winter of 2025, Calvià reached a historic milestone by exceeding one hundred restaurants open in the low season, which demonstrates the municipality's vitality and wide gastronomic and hotel offer.
A Mostra for all audiences
La Mostra's philosophy is to bring local gastronomy closer to as many people as possible. For this reason, restaurants are encouraged to include alternatives in their offerings, such as children's menus, vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free options, always at the same price as the main menu.
In this way, families, residents and visitors will be able to discover the best flavours of Calvià, enjoying quality cuisine in a unique setting.
