''Mi rincón favorito de Magaluf' (My favourite spot in Magaluf) announces its winning entries

“Mi rincón favorito de Magaluf” contest, organised by Magaluf Town Hall, announced its winning entries on Monday: the first prize, worth 200 euros, went to Rubén Molina Fernández, and the second prize, worth 100 euros, went to Alba Coppola. Thus recognising the two best images from amongst the more than 50 submitted to the contest using the hashtag #mirinconfavoritodemagaluf.
The objective of the competition was to stimulate the creative capacity of the contestants and promote tourism in the town through citizen participation. The social network Instagram was chosen for this purpose, both for its reach in society, especially amongst younger generations, and for the virality that the contestants' creations would generate.
