Calvià is preparing once again for a Christmas season full of joy and excitement with a varied programme of events, activities, and offerings designed for the enjoyment of the whole family. The festivities kick off this Sunday, 7th December, with the traditional Christmas Market, which will be held at the Santa Ponça Municipal Sports Center from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
This event, organized by the Town Hall and completely free of charge, marks the beginning of four weeks of Christmas celebrations in Calvià. It will include Christmas carols, a handycraft market, live music, children's activities, workshops, and circus performances. Without a doubt, this is the perfect plan to spend the day amidst lights, smiles, and a festive atmosphere.
The market will feature a wide variety of stalls run by artisans and local associations, where attendees can find unique gifts, Christmas decorations, and local products, thus supporting local businesses and the community of Calvià.
One of the main attractions of this year's event will be the presence of the Bover Circus, which will offer six performances throughout the day in a circus tent set up for the occasion.
With children in mind, the venue will have bouncy castles and face painting—available until 8:00 p.m.—ensuring fun for the youngest visitors. In addition, there will be a photo booth open all day to capture memorable Christmas moments.
