MAYOR OF CALVIÀ. 
He was born in Zaragoza, on 25th August 1964.
He is a Secondary Education teacher
He holds a degree in Hispanic Philology from the University of Zaragoza (1987). Since 2012 he has been General Secretary of the Socialist Group of Calvià and from 2008 to 2012 he was Secretary of Organisation of the Socialist Group of Calvià.
He began his professional career as a teacher of Secondary Education in 1988 at the IES Ferran Casablancas (Sabadell), where he was until 1992. He continued in Mallorca at the IES Maria Antònia Salvà (Llucmajor) from 1992 to 1994, and he joined the team of IES Calvià (Santa Ponça, Calvià) in 1994, where he has worked until this year. In this centre he was Head of Studies and Director from 1997 to 2004.
From 2007 to 2010 he was Director of the Institut de Convivència i Éxit Escolar, of the Regional Ministry of Education.
He is National Basketball Coach.
