The Municipal Register is the administrative register of the residents of a municipality. The certificates issued with this data will be considered to be a public and reliable document for all administrative purposes (Article 16 of Law 7/1985, of 2 April, Regulating the Bases of the Local Regime).
The census is the procedure that regulates the administrative registration of the residents of the municipality. Every person living in Spain is obliged to register in the census of the municipality where he/she usually resides. Anyone living in more than one municipality will be registered only in the municipality where he/she resides for the longest period of time during the year. When there is a change of address within the municipality of Calvià, the interested person must request the accomplishment of this change in the Padrón. The certificate of Padrón is the document that accredits residence in the municipality.

- Telematically with electronic certificate/DNIe on the electronic registry that you will find in the Sede Electrónica of the City Council.
- In person, requesting an appointment.
