This is an initiative that was born in 1994, when the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation of Catalonia decided to organize a party with the aim of increasing the visibility and social awareness of the disease. Since then, it has been celebrated on the second Sunday of the month of July, spreading to different parts of the country, with thousands of participants and volunteers. Thanks to the collaboration of all those involved, the event raises funds to maintain and improve the services provided by the different entities in the face of multiple sclerosis.

Every year multiple people and institutions join. Calvià City Council collaborates with ABDEM, taking charge of the dissemination and organization of the event, which consists of counting meters swum in the municipal pool with a solidarity and symbolic purpose. In addition, all those participating are given a diploma that certifies their involvement, having the opportunity to purchase merchandising to contribute to the fundraiser.

This 2019, it will be held at the Magaluf municipal swimming pool.
