Installment payments
The installment payment of bills allows dividing the payment of a debt or fee into several parts, making financial management easier. It offers greater flexibility to meet obligations without affecting the monthly budget, helping to better plan expenses and avoid late fees or large one-time payments.
The request for installment payments differs depending on the tax period the bill is in, either voluntary or enforcement. The ways to make the request are:
- Through the VTO with an authenticated user by following these steps:
- Access the Virtual Tax Office (VTO).
- Search for and select the option 'Request installment payment in voluntary period' or 'Request installment payment in enforcement period' in the search bar or the procedures menu (icon located in the upper left corner)
- Fill out and submit the form.
- In person at the OMT offices.
