Paella Contest rules:
Minimum participants for paella 10 people
Registration price: 4 € per person
Ingredients will be given by the Fallas Committee. Rice is courtesy of DACSA.
Deadline for enrollment is Saturday at 12.00 (If the quota has not been met before)
Registration at Casal Faller C/ Gran Via, nº1, El Toro (Calvià), next to BMN Sa Nostra.
Contest will take place on Sunday 2nd April at lunch time. The jury will receive a sample of each paella until 14.30 hour.

Saturday, 1st April

09.00 h. Noisy wake up and parade with music band Unió Musical
de Catarroja. Handicraft market
13.00 h. Private cocktail offered to the authorities.
18.00 h. Meeting of all members of the Falla, and also neighbours
with costumes to offer flowers to the Virgin Mary of Valencia (dels Desamparats), and to the Virgin Mary from El Toro, in the church. We will all go in procession along the main road of El Toro, togheter with the Unió Musical de Catarroja.

12.30 h. València Paella Cooking by Manuel Velarte (València), holder of the Guiness Record in 1992 to the biggest Valencian paella of the world. Dish price 6 €.
12.30 h. Queens parade and their Courts.
13.00 h. Magnificent Globotà in Mallorca (5.000 balloons ready to
be exploded).
14.00 h. Magnificent firecrackers by Pirotècnia Valenciana.
14.30 h. Qualification of jury of the best paellas and delivery of awards to the winners.
17.30 h. Majorcan dance group Engalba on the stage of Plaça d'Europa.
21.00 h. Children monument fires.
21.30 h. Ground finale fireworks by Pirotècnia Valenciana from Llanera de Ranes (València).
