The Club Deportivo Apnea Mallorca organises the III CAZAFOTOSUB IN APNOEA OPEN.
The cazafotosub in Apnoea is a sport that consists of skin diving 'fishing' of live fish (apnoea), substituting the submarine rifle for a camera. In this modality, where no autonomous diving equipment is used, the number of different species that are photographed prevails, so an excellent physical form (the competitions last an average of 5 hours) and a high knowledge of the marine fauna is required.
In order to participate, it is necessary to have a valid federal license. On the other hand, the Balearic Federation of Underwater Activities will lend the cameras to all the participants that do not have one on the day of the event.
