Calvià Town Hall promotes business innovation with the third edition of IFOC's Artificial Intelligence Academy.

Calvià Town Hall, through the Calvià Training and Employment Institute (IFOC), launches the third edition of the Artificial Intelligence Academy. 

This free training and consulting programme, which starts in September, is designed to help businesses, professionals and entrepreneurs in the municipality take advantage of the potential of AI. The objective is to improve their productivity, explore new growth opportunities and strengthen their competitiveness in the digital environment. 

Following the success of the two previous editions, the Academy returns with a renewed programme that combines face-to-face sessions, practical workshops and specialised advice, with the aim of facilitating the incorporation of artificial intelligence into business processes and decisions and responding to the needs of the business fabric of Calvià. 

Training Programme 

  • The cycle, which will take place between September and November 2025, will be taught in person at the IFOC facilities in Palmanova and will offer the following training actions: 
  • September 29 (3-8 pm) AI Literacy. 
  • October 2 and 8 (4-8 pm) Texts, social networks, web, brand and generation of presentations in Artificial Intelligence. 
  • October 9 (4-8 pm) Image and video editing with AI. 
  • From September 30 to October 23 (4-8 pm) Mastering social media automation with AI (itinerary).
  • From November 3rd to 11th (10am-2pm) Mastering AI tools for productivity (itinerary).

Access to personalised consulting

Attendees at the training courses will have access to a free consulting service to facilitate the incorporation of artificial intelligence into their business processes.This service, which is subject to a selection process due to its high demand, focuses on the implementation of automation solutions in areas such as time control, orders, budgets, social networks, and email management, amongst others.

Success of previous editions

The Artificial Intelligence Academy has proven to be a success in its previous editions, with 684 registrations received and 350 places offered between October 2024 and August 2025. The programme was attended by 104 conference attendees and has provided 112 hours of training and group consulting. Participants' testimonials highlight the training as "super professional" and "interesting," noting that artificial intelligence is "the future."
