Social care for the Elderly

Through the local social services, Calvià Town Council offers the Social Care Programme for the Elderly.

The programme includes:

• the services and benefits of specialised social and psychological support for the elderly and their families.
• processing of municipal economic benefits for the coverage of basic needs
• Information, guidance and advice on benefits from other social protection systems.
• Home Help Service
• Home telecare service
• Support and self-help groups for family carers.

Any person in Calvià who finds themselves in a situation of basic personal need can exercise their right to be attended to by the community social services of Calvià. To do so, you have to go to or telephone the nearest Social Services Centre, according to your area of residence, where you will be given an appointment with the social worker.
