Calvià launches the third edition of the Environmental Awards endowed with 15.000 euros
Six awards are awarded to projects related to environmental protection in the municipality
The third call for the Calvià Environmental Awards, endowed with 15.000 euros, is already underway. Any legal entity willing to carry out an environmental initiative (environmental cleaning, restoration, environmental education, sustainability project, etc.) in the municipality of Calvià during the year 2024 can apply.
To participate, the entity will have to submit, before 1st December 2023, a report explaining the initiative it wants to carry out and sign an affidavit with the commitment, if it is one of the awarded entities, to carry it out under the conditions specified in the report submitted and within the year 2024 (January-September).
The endowment for this awards call is 15.000 euros, distributed as follows:
1. A first prize of 4.000 euros for the environmental initiative entity with the best evaluation by the jury.
2. A second prize of 3.000 euros for the environmental initiative entity with the second best evaluation by the jury.
3. Four third prizes of 2.000 euros for each of the following categories:
a) Best restoration and/or environmental cleaning initiative (2.000€).
b) Best biodiversity promotion or study action (2.000€).
c) Best environmental awareness and education action (2.000€).
d) Best action to promote sustainability, energy transition, waste or pollutants reduction (2.000€).
