The Town Hall of Calvià has the pleasure to invite you visit the exhibition:
Banca March and the Town Hall of Calvià present us 30 drawings that belong to an extensive series, started by the artist in 1930, after a long stay in Paris, where he met the surrealism, the abstraction.
The name of Benjamín Palencia (Albacete, 1894 - Madrid, 1980) is linked to the origins of Vanguardism in Spain. Founder of the School of Vallecas, he was an artist who changed the Spanish landscape.
From the 6 to the 31 of May in the Exhibition Hall of the Town Hall of Calvià.
Inauguration Friday 6 May at 8pm.
With the collaboration of the florist´s Sa Botigueta de ses Flors, enoteca Divino and Mayssa cake shop.
