Excursion to the Galatzó public estate: some examples of this exploitation will be shown, from the wheat waterwheels, one of the best preserved in Majorca, to the lime stone ovens or coal sites, which remind some of the traditional occupations such as the coal and lime stone miners. The excursion will finish at Ses Sínies valley, where the most important stream in the municipality, the Galatzó-Santa Ponça, starts. Also, Ses Sínies archaeological site, one of the most ancient in Calvià, will be able to be seen, in this area. Meeting point: Town Hall, at 9.30 a.m., where the bus will be waiting to take the people to the estate. Approximate duration: 3 hours.
