Premiere of the theatre play El Mago. Project Jardí Desolat
This performance wants to reclaim as part of the cultural heritage of Calvià the filming of a memorable film for serveral reasons. El mago (based on the homonymous novel by John Fowles) was filmed, amongst other locations, on the beach which now takes his name. This means that this event changed the toponymy of one of the most emblematic beaches of the area of Portals Vells. Explain both, the novel and the circumstances which involved the filming of the film is our contribution to the promotion of the cinematographic history of Calvià, related this time to the literature and the European audiovisual world.
