Calvià bids farewell to the Year Ramón Llull with a display in the consistorial building called La desmesurada vida de Ramón Llull en els 700 anys de la seva mort (The disproportionate life of Ramón Llull in the 700 years of his death). The exhibition in commemoration of the Year Llull, which is coordinated by the Directorate General of Culture of the Regional Ministry for Participation, Transparency and Culture of the Balearic Islands, has as main objective to bring his work as a leading thinker of the medieval European literature.
This activity is located at the entrance of the Town Hall so that people going to the council building can know the life and work of the Majorcan sage.
An informative publication has been prepared in which Ramón Llull is presented from eight points that coincide with aspects of his life but also explain his thinking and work: At Mallorca court, the life change, the Randa lighting, the interfaith dialogue, the literature, the trips, the results and the tenacity of Llull. The publication also includes a chronology of the life of Ramón Llull.

To close the celebration of the 700 years of his death, and also to make known the figure of the beatified and his values, a performance of the theatre play Phantasticus of Ramón Llull carried out by Iguana Teatre within the programme "Actors amb lletra" will be held on 29th November at 7.30 p.m. in Sa Societat. Admission will be free of charge.
