Presentation of the book by Manel Santana Morro: El primer franquisme a Mallorca (1939-1959) Societat i Cultura
The impact of the Franco regime on society, leisure and the world of culture is analysed in its first stage, until 1959. It is a period marked by a society wounded by the war's events, by the harsh living conditions of the post-war period, by extreme authoritarianism and by the imposition of the victors' postulates in the various areas of social and cultural life.
