Calvià will host the ATP 250 Mallorca Championships tournament that will take place at the Mallorca Lawn Tennis & Country Club facilities in Santa Ponça and will have the already confirmed presence of tennis players such as the Australian Nick Kyrgios, Feliciano López and Fernando Verdasco.

This is the first ATP 250 event to be held in Mallorca, 19 years later; the first ATP lawn tennis tournament to be held in Spain and the first lawn tennis event with night sessions.
