Free activities for the whole family will begin at 9 a.m. on the Magaluf seafront promenade—renamed Paseo Gabriel Escarrer Juliá. On Sunday, 22nd June, the first phase of the renovation, which will culminate in the second section of the promenade, whose works will begin next winter, will be inaugurated to the public, residents, and visitors. Work on this project will begin next winter. Calvià Town Hall has scheduled a day full of activities and offers. At 11 a.m., the ceremonial ribbon will be cut, marking the inauguration. After the promenade's tour, an institutional event will take place in Jacques Sasson Square.

A tribute will be paid to the owner of the first house built on Magaluf's seafront promenade—Catalina Feliu—and a documentary will be screened summarising almost a century of Magaluf through her testimony, Catalina i Magaluf. Feliu will receive a commemorative sculpture, the Cor de Calvià. Details will also be provided of the next ABTA congress, which will be held in October in the municipality. An exhibition of historical photographs of Magaluf will be open to visitors, and a photo point will be set up facing the sea to immortalise the day under the slogan Magaluf for All.

The first Gastrofira Magaluf will be launched, with the participation of a dozen local establishments offering discounts and special promotions. For sports enthusiasts, beach activities such as volleyball, rugby, children's games, and footvolleyball will be scheduled from 9 a.m. There will also be mini-tennis, children's face-painting workshops, a biblioroulotte (the municipal library network's mobile library), entertainers, and more. Throughout the day, there will be street music with 'xeremiers' (bagpipers), ball de bot (Mallorca's traditional dancing), brass bands, DJs, and live performances. The winner of the Calvià Talent Jove competition, Paula Presente, will perform, along with fellow award-winners Lucía Servera, Dalu, and Carol Hazas. All of this will be complemented by live jazz and entertainment from the Circo Stromboli circus.

The Town Hall has launched an advertising campaign in the media and on social networks to encourage residents to take part in the festive day. More information, including detailed activity schedules, can be found on the calvia.com website.

The works have received a €4 million grant from the Next Generation EU Funds of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, and the Regional Ministry of Tourism of the Balearic Islands Government through Illes Balears Sostenibles. Thanks to the ITS (Sustainable Tourism Tax) funds, a further 1 million euros has been contributed.

The event is part of the Magaluf for All campaign, promoted by Calvià Town Hall and financed with ITS (Sustainable Tourism Tax) funds.
