Photo contest 'Silence, accomplice of violence against women'
The photographs theme is "Silence, accomplice of violence against women." The images have to reflect, creatively, the types of violence that women suffer in their day-to-day lives and the responsibility that society has for not allowing it.
The prize will consist of 300 € for the winner and 100 € for the finalist. The awards ceremony will be on 3rd December at the IES Bendinat at 4 p.m.
Deadline for submission of photographs: from 5th to 25th November
Aimed at: people over 14 years old.

An expert in mycology will lead the participants in an interesting route through the corners of the property in search of mushrooms. He will explain the differences between them, how to distinguish them, their edibility and toxicity, he will analyse the main species and give practical advice on how, where and when we have to go to look for mushrooms.
The Day will come to an end with a mycological exhibition of the species found, which will have to be identified and classified by putting them in the Latin name and the popular name if they have. In addition, they will be ordered according to whether they are edible, non-edible, toxic and / or deadly.
To participate, the corresponding registration must be made. This must be done by sending an email to medioambiente@calvia.com or by calling 971 130 577, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Maximum number of participants: 25

It is expected the participation of 32 teams, 16 per category (U10 and U12). The event presents an attractive poster of confirmed teams, with the presence of some of the most important international, national and local football teams.
The presence of international youth teams such as La Lazio (Italy) or Oporto (Portugal) stands out. As for the national representation, it is headed by the Atlético de Madrid, Celta, Betis or Málaga, amongst others. Finally, the tournament will include the best youth teams in the Balearic Islands, led by RCD Mallorca, Atlético Baleares or the host team of the tournament, CF Platges de Calvià.
