IMMA AGUILAR NÁCHER WILL OPEN THE FIRST CONFERENCE ON COMMUNICATION FROM THE PUBLIC ADMINISTRATIONS TO BE HELD IN CALVIÀ
The event will take place on 16th and 17th November in Peguera
The expert in public, political and electoral communication, Imma Aguilar Nácher, will deliver the inaugural I Conference on Communication from the Public Administrations, which will be held in Calvià, on 16th and 17th November, coordinated by Novagob, the largest online community with regards to public innovation. The conference is organised by Calvià Town Hall together with the Universitat de les Illes Balears and the EBAP, with the collaboration of the Government of the Balearic Islands, the Consell de Mallorca and IB3.
The objective of the meeting is to create a space for reflection and debate between public communication professionals in two days structured in: an inaugural conference, 4 thematic panels given by experts, discussion tables and participatory workshops for the resolution of communication challenges in the Public Administrations.
Imma Aguilar is currently director of @perfilpublico, in 2016 she was one of the 12 awarded with the Victory Awards as the most influent women in the Political Communication and in 2017 she was Best Political Consultant of theYear nominee at the Napolitan Victory Awards held annually in Washington.
Aguilar heads the list of speakers who will intervene in the 4 panels.
Panel 1 will discuss on The institutional communication in the era of open Government: publicity in Public Administrations, and will have as speaker Víctor Almonacid, expert in the modernisation of the local administration, and currently Secretary of the Ajuntament d'Eivissa (Ibiza Town Hall). He is member of the technical group of the Commission for Modernisation, Citizen Participation and Quality of the FEMP, and the Technical Committee of the Spanish Network of Intelligent Cities. He directs the project Alzira Inteligente-Alzira Smart City.
From the press office to the department of communication, strategic management of communication in public institutions, is the theme of the second Panel to be deliverd by Mayte Vañó, expert and trainer in communication through social networks and communication strategy and social media consultant. She is the Community Manager of the Tourism Office of Campello Town Hall.
Panel number 3 will be conducted by Amalia López Acera, who will talk about The social media as a disruptive tool in the public sector. Amalia López is Community Manager of SERVEF, Servei Valencià d'Ocupació i Formació (Valencian Training and Employment Service), and she is awarded with the Internet Day Award 2017 for the best personal brand in social networks in the category of communicators. In 2016 she won the CNIS Award for the best management in social networks.
Present and future of municipal public media, is the title of Panel number 4 whose speaker will be Albert Sáez, Doctor in journalism and university professor. He is currently assistant director of El Periódico de Catalunya and was president of the Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals (Catalan Corporation of Audiovisual Means).
