Great participation in the I Conference on Communication from the Public Administrations

The I Conference on Communication from the Public Administrations, held at the Casal de Peguera on 16^th and 17^th November, had a great participation of public workers, as well as communication professionals from all over Spain. The Mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, welcomed the participants before the inaugural conference given by Imma Aguilar, followed by 4 lectures given by Amalia López Acera, Mayte Vañó, Víctor Almonacid and Miriam Riera. 

Throughout the two work days, new models of advertising management in local administrations, new digital competencies in communication cabinets, the use of social networks and municipal web pages were discussed. On the last day, participatory workshops were held to solve challenges in public administrations.

The I Conference on Communication from the Public Administrations has been organised by the Calvià Town Hall, together with the EBAP of the Balearic Government and the FUEIB of the University of the Balearic Islands, with the collaboration of NovaGob, Fundación Calvià, IB3, Consell de Mallorca, Association of Journalists of the Balearic Islands, Fibwi and Kare.
