The 5th Calvią Employment Laucher begins

THE V CALVIÀ EMPLOYMENT LAUNCHER BEGINS

15 people have begun to train a new job search in the V Calvià Employment Launcher , in which there are still 5 free places.

Its participants will meet several days a week and with the guidance of a specialised technician they will carry out activities to activate and optimize their job search and to have new job opportunities.

The V Calvià Employment Laucnher, financed by the Town Hall of Calvià and managed by the Santa María la Real Foundation, currently comprises a team of 15 unemployed people (9 women and 6 men), aged between 30 and 57 years, and with diverse formative profiles: ESO, Vocational Training, Bachelor and university studies.
There are those who are looking for their first job and who are looking for a new job opportunity after years of experience in different sectors, such as administration, tourism, customer service or quality, among others.

Collaborative culture
Lola Romillo is the technician that has done the selection process and the one in charge of managing the launcher during the next five months. She explains that it is a heterogeneous group, with very varied experiences, whose task now is to become a team and share the same objective: to help each other to improve their professional skills, to undertake a more serious, professional, proactive and coordinated search for work, to have with new job opportunities. "They arrive animated, with a desire to receive orientation in their search of a job, to improve their competences and employability", specifies Lola.

What will they do in the Launcher?
From now on and during the next five months, they will meet several days a week. They will carry out various activities: emotional intelligence workshops, communication dynamics, personal branding and 2.0 job search; job interview training; elaboration of employability maps, visits to companies and meetings with Human Resources managers with the aim of achieving the full insertion of the twenty participants.

5 free places
There are still five free places in this fifth edition of the launcher.
