Prostitution, a form of violence against women
The Calvià Town Hall and the Technical Board of direct assistance to people who practice prostitution in the municipality of Calvià, formed by IBDona, IBSalut, Guardia Civil, Government Delegation, Calvià Town Hall (Local Police, Social Services and Equality) and the three entities that attend people who practice prostitution (Red Cross, Casal Petit and Metges del Món), have organised the I Conference on "Prostitution, a form of violence against women".
It will take place in Sala Palmanova, 2 Diego Salvá Lezaún St., Palmanova, from 9 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. for professionals in the social, educational, security and health sectors, and anyone interested in this theme.
The conference will be open to all citizens from 5 to 7 p.m. and there is no need to register. A playroom service is offered to reconcile family and personal life, previously notifying on igualtat@calvia.com.
