'Acosta't a la Costa' Programme
Students in 3rd year of ESO Bendinat have participated, along with their teachers, in the environmental education activity 'Acosta't a la Costa' organised by Calvià Town Hall, through the Natural and Urban Environment Service.
During the workshops, which took place at the beach of s'Oratori in Portals Nous during the months of November and December, students have been able to know biological and natural aspects of the area, see the impact of microplastics on the beach and discover the importance of Posidonia for the protection of beaches. These workshops aim to make young people aware of the conservation of the natural heritage of the coast.
