Check all the activities that have been scheduled in Calvià on the occasion of 8th March 'Dia de les Dones' (Women's Day), amongst which there are exhibitions, workshops, theatre, reading club, the presentation of issue number 7 of the municipal 'Entorn' magazine dedicated to the women, and the I Giantesses gathering of Mallorca 'Gegantes per la igualtat' (Giantesses for Equality).
On the cover of the programme appears the winning poster of the contest “La mujer más divertida que conozco"(The funniest woman I know), by Clemencia Planas Solivellas, a student in second year of primary education of the CEIP Xaloc school of Peguera. The winning short-story of the contest "Mujeres que persiguen sus sueños" (Women who pursue their dreams) corresponds to Natalia Cáceres Valcárcel, a student in fifth year of primary education of the CEIP Jaume I school of Palmanova.
