Visit to the FERGUS Style Palmanova hotel
The hotel, located on the front line of Palmanova, will open all year round as a bet for the deseasonalisation of tourism in Calvià
The mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, visited this morning the FERGUS Style Hotel in Palmanova, which will open 365 days a year, thus reaffirming its commitment to a deseasonlised tourism in the area.
The mayor, accompanied by Palmanova councillor, Francisca Muñoz, and the general director of Tourism, Joan Mesquida, visited the establishment of the Mallorcan chain accompanied by Pep Cañellas, owner of FERGUS Hotels, and the general director, Bernat Vicens.
The Hotel FERGUS Style Palmanova, located on the Passeig del Mar seafront, was completely renovated in 2016. Rodríguez Badal has celebrated the (all year round) opening of the establishment as it means more economic activity for the area, and, consequently, more jobs for the neighbours of Calvià. The mayor has highlighted this aspect linked to the quality of the establishment after the refurbishment, and congratulated the company for its commitment to Calvià, thanking its complicity with the municipality for continuing to advance in improving the resort, which is what public-private collaboration seeks.
