GASTRO&ART PEGUERA 2018 PRESENTATION
Today the first edition of Gastro&Art was presented at the Villamil hotel in Peguera. The event will be held on 20th, 21st and 22nd April in the Torà square of Peguera, and organised by the Peguera and Cala Fornells Hoteliers Association in collaboration with the Calvià Town Hall and the Fundación Calvià. The presentation was given by the mayor Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, the president of the Hotel Association of Peguera, Antonio Mayol, and the president of the Mallorca Hotel Federation, María Frontera.
The mayor has highlighted the ability to generate experiences to delight the tourists that visit the destination now at the beginning of the season. Alfonso Rodríguez Badal pointed out that "we have to be able to offer, as a very important added element of our resort, the gastronomic, artistic and cultural quality of our land, and this is a magnificent initiative".
The gastronomic and artistic event will have 14 stands that will offer attendees a wide gastronomic representation of Mallorca, as well as a full activities programme: live music, contests and Swing classes, yoga sessions, artistic workshops (painting, sculpture ... ) gastronomic workshops (wine tasting, pastry, cocktails ...). There will be a representation of Mallorcan sculptors and painters who will offer their works and will give free workshops to assistants.
