Calvià celebrates Book's Day 2018 with a series of activities, many of which are aimed at children and the general public, such as workshops, book presentations, or a cultural outing to learn about the archaeological remains of the municipality, amongst others.
The central act will be on 21st April at the Paseo del Mar in Palmanova, from 10.30 am to 6.30 pm.
Book's Day is dedicated this year to the First Editions and you will be able to see, at the same beach promenade, an exhibition of titles and reproductions of the first original editions, with information and reviews. There will also be an exhibition of period dresses (lent by The Seamstress of Rohan) and copies of 1887 and 1902 from the Encyclopedia Britannica.
On 21st in the afternoon, the event will end with a concert by 'Colectivo Silencio' performing film soundtrack pieces.
