COLLABORATION WITH FUNDACIÓ DEIXALLES FOR THE SOCIOLABOUR REINSERTION OF PEOPLE IN VULNERABILITY SITUATION
The Calvià Town Hall and Fundació Deixalles have signed a collaboration agreement for the sociolabour reinsertion of people in vulnerability situation.
With the signing of this agreement, between the deputy mayor for Urbanism, Commerce, Citizen Participation and Youth, Marcos Pecos; and the general director of the Fundació Deixalles, Francesca Maria Martí Llodrà; Calvià lends the use of a premises located at Lluna St. in Portals, from Monday to Friday, in the mornings, with the aim of carrying out activities aimed at the socio-occupational integration of people at risk of social exclusion or disadvantaged people (people with disabilities associated with a mental health diagnosis). Within this general objective, the implementation of the "Theoretical and practical training for the acquisition of sociolabour skills" service will be developed to carry out the practice training, the theoretical training and the acquisition of sociolabour skills.
The agreement-signing event was also attended by the deputy mayor for Social Cohesion and Equality, Nati Francés; the general director for Citizen Participation and Youth, Juan Recasens; the director of the programme, Mari Carmen Medina, and the social worker, Juan Carlos de la Fuente.
